Academic Assessments

Classes: Nursery – UKG

Students are assessed on the basis of skill areas which they demonstrate according to the LSRW (Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing) parameter. Apart from scholastic areas, they are also evaluated on Life Skills and Co-scholastic areas. This too is an ongoing process.

Classes: I-VIII

Students are assessed as per the remodelled assessment structure in which four Assessments: Periodic Assessment I; Summative Assessment I; Periodic Assessment II and Summative Assessment II would be conducted under two terms in the entire academic year. Both marks and grades will be awarded for individual subjects. It is mandatory for the students to appear in all the examinations during the academic year.

Internal Assessment

  • Regularity
  • Assignment completion
  • Neatness of Books

Answer sheets after evaluation will be shown to the students. No rank is given if the student fails in any subject. The minimum pass mark for a subject is 33. Use of unfair means during tests/examinations will invite a serious action and may lead to expulsion from the school. In such a case the child will not be eligible for any academic award, any school appointment or any other recognition.
